Why private lessons?
Maybe you or your child plays in the school or community band or orchestra. You are doing okay, but are having trouble with some aspects of playing and because of this you are not able to go to the next level. Or maybe you have an audition coming up and could use some extra help. A private teacher can give you much more guidance than a band or orchestra conductor or even your school music teacher in a group lesson. Many of my students have gone on to receive scholarships to study music in college.
